WHICH GAME IS KILLING THE GAME?

The Ghanaian music scene has come under a lot reconstruction lately. These are not conscious efforts by anybody to redesign how music is made and presented, rather its an abstract adaptation to the new innovations that the world has brought.
Music in Ghana started with the drums and stick and metals here and there...( i didn't know our forefathers were that boring?)... Because of how boring their songs were those days, it had to be accompanied by some young big-breasted lady doing some dance..(as an appetizer)...It worked...
Now, from hi-life to hiplife...to hiphop...to raplife..to adonko life to whatever...the folks 'claim' that somebody is killing the 'game'....

It started with the song put together by GMA Artiste of the year Okyeame Kwame, Obour and Richie...who is killing the game?

(doesn't the brother look a lot slimmer here....ooh..just remembered...he's never been bigger!)

This song has come under a lot of criticisms including the idea that they(the artistes) are talking about the demise of 'hiplife' whiles singing on a 'hiphop' instrumental...catch the drift?
Another angle is that, don't these three superstars have good DJ's who can do a good mix and stop dissing?
Well...it goes on and on...i have reserved ideas about the whole 'killing the game' killing but one other artistes who doesn't want to reserve his emotions went into the studio and 'spoke his mind'.
Shatta Rako... 'wo p3 as3m!!!'

He decided to shatta the trio with a reply to their song, calling it "the shame of the game"
This is a satire of the former, quite hilarious and you need to hear it. He boldly says..."dem say dem want the answer, ey3 nyansa"
literally meaning...'they say they want the answer, it is wisdom"...oouuchhh!!!
Does it imply, the trio dont....?........i'm just asking!!

Well if you want to hear Shatta Rako's reply of the game, just join me on Radio Xtacy 94.5MHz on the Highway Xpress, thats the hottest drive time show on Radio in Kumasi, Ghana.
