Relationships can now pass to be sue'able entities as per the news that is going around with two of Ghana's stars. First of all, i think Dela Ackumey has been unlucky as Michael Essien's wrath has been thrown on her. (the wrath from the Chelsea-Barcelona game, which He scored the only goal, but Chelsea lost)
The Midfielder is now taking the midfield in court now as he has dragged his ex-girlfriend Ms Dela Ackumey to an Accra High Court in connection with allegations that he had performed her traditional marriage rites while they were together.
Essien, who will be flying in from his London base to testify, wants a court order restraining Ms Ackumey who was said to have lived with him sometime ago before they broke up, from holding herself as his wife.
Dela has stated that she has video evidence to prove that the Chelsea ace indeed performed the marriage rites in the presence of her relatives. (marriage too ibi force?..."you are my husband, whether you like it or not")..'any lady wanna tell me that?lol Essien's Counsel stated that according to his client, the rites performed did not amount to marriage in the Anlo tribe where Ackumey comes from. He argued that even if the traditional rites amounted to a marriage, it was contrary to the instructions he gave and stressed that it was not a marriage rite.
